Females are not interested in a job in a male dominated sector. The reason for this lays in the fact that HRM officers do not make enough efforts to employ women and keep them working for the sector.

Of the questioned companies about three quarter says that only 10 percent of their employees are women, according to the research presented today by two departments. Exceptions are leading companies as Shell and IBM.

The male sectors are not fully aware of the female potential, according to the researchers. Most companies do not see the usefulness and necessity to employ females.

The research was conducted among 100 companies who employ mainly men, like construction, industry, metal and ICT.
