Because the economy is growing employees feel better about themselves. This according to the latest Work monitor, the two-monthly research of Randstad.

Half of the 880 questioned employees states that their work pleasure is improved since the beginning of January, 16 percent stated that it has much improved. Cause of this is the growing economy that gives space for increasing salary, investments in work places and hiring new colleagues.

Furthermore employees are less scared of firing and less employees expect to do the same or comparable work at another employer.
