The American Neocork Technologies has recently signed an agreement to located their European production and logistic facilities at the modern Chemelot Research and Business Campus in Sittard-Geleen.

Chemelot offers at its Industrial Park and Research & Business Campus facilities for over 60 organisations that work together, among which large material players as DSM and SABIC.

The new company facility of 2,242 m2 at the Chemelot location offers Neocork the possibility to meet the demands of European customers, that is at least 1 billion Neocorks annually. “The presence of Chemelot by as well as our most important suppliers and customers, as the access to facilities for highly scientific research and development at Chemelot, gives us the unique possibility to make sure that Neocork remains at the top of the synthetic corks business.
