SABIC Innovative Plastics, formally known as General Electric Plastics, at Bergen op Zoom, will start on the market for synthetic materials for solar panels.

For this an Energy center of excellence will be founded on the industrial area at Bergen op Zoom. The energy center will help manufacturers of solar panels to make their products of high quality materials. In the center panels can be developed, casted and tested. Manufacturers can get advise on developing advanced technologies.

SABIC wants to play an important role in the development of solar panels and other energy sources that are not depended on fossil fuels.
