Last week Organon, part of Schering-Plough, announced that they will cut 100 jobs in the Netherlands as result of the integration with Schering-Plough Corporation.
The main reason for this is the fact that the head quarter of Schering-Plough is and will be located in Kenilworth, America. This means that a number of jobs are redundant at the office of Organon BioSciences and in a number of Flobal Functions of Organon. These jobs will be expired.
After the official assembly of Organon BioSciences and Schering-Plough Corporation was announced last November, they worked hard to integrate the two organizations. This process is not finished yet and further changes in the organization will be neccisacary. It will take some time before the new organizations will have its final shape. The goal is to build a strong, innovative international pharmaceutical organization, with a healthy future.
