At the beginning of each year Hyphen Projects, organizer of amongst others the BCF Event, conducts a labour market study amongst students and graduates in biology, chemistry, food sciences and related studies. The question ‘which organization appeals to you the most as employer’ the most respondents answered TNO. Thus outranking Organon, who was the number 1 most appealing employer for three consecutive years. Third in place is DSM, followed by University of Leiden, University of Utrecht and Unilever. 580 people participated in the survey.

The whole top 10 is dominated by large organizations, in spite of the fact that most Dutch Life Sciences organizations are small and medium sized companies.
Positive outlook on future
The last three years shows an increase in people who have a positive to very positive outlook on their future. Three quarters of the respondents see their future as (very) favourable. Only 4% see their future as unfavourable.
