Director of NIZO Food Research Ad Juriaanse has opened the food application centre today. NIZO celebrates its sixtieth birthday this year.

By opening the application centre research NIZO adds a third area to its programme. The other centres focuses on processing and fundamental research.

Ad Juriaanse briefly evaluated the history of NIZO. Originally the company only focused on the dairy sector. In 1996 the name of the organization changes from Nizo to NIZO Food Research. The company did not only wanted to assist the dairy sector but also other sectors.

NIZO Food Research is now also active abroad. The company has now representatives in countries as Japan and USA.
