Persons who have recently completed a thesis in plant sciences or biology can apply for the RZ Plant Sciences Award 2009 that has been rewarded by Rijk Zwaan. This award consists of a price of € 1,500 and a visit to one of the 17 Rijk Zwaan subsidiaries around the world.

Eligible for this award are those who have recently written a master thesis on basic, operational or applied research in plants, plant breeding and seeds. The thesis have to be send in before 1 November. A professional jury will select the best thesis. The winner will be announced in March 2009.
