Crucell has signed a non-exclusive licence agreement with the American company Abbott for the production of monoclonal antibodies. This was reported by the biotech company last Wednesday.

Abbott is going to evaluate the STAR technology of Crucell. This technology will eventually be used to make new cell lines for the production of several biopharmaceutical compounds.
