Euraxess Europe is an information platform especially for foreign researchers who are working or intend to work in a European country. It is an initiative founded by the European Commission and consists of a network of more than 200 service centres in over 30 countries throughout Europe. The Netherlands participate in this information platform.

Euraxess the Netherlands gives foreign researchers and their families access to information about working, living and getting around in the Netherlands.
Bedrijfsactiviteiten
The overall aim of Euraxess The Netherlands is to facilitate the mobility of researchers to the Netherlands by providing information and assistance on a whole array of ‘mobility issues’. These include topics such as immigration procedures, tax issues, health insurance and social security.

Euraxess The Netherlands provides information and assistance to two groups. Firstly to mobile researchers and their families intending to come to the Netherlands. Secondly to support staff working at organizations hosting foreign researchers. These host organizations can be universities, research institutes or commercial enterprises.

We zoeken
What we're looking for is to provide up-to-date, knowledgeable and friendly service to international researchers who are currently living and working in the Netherlands, or who are interested in coming to the Netherlands.

Euraxess the Netherlands also tries to contribute to better procedures for international mobile researchers. Because of our expertise in mobility issues relevant to foreign researchers we are regularly invited by policy makers to provide input on improvement of procedures or legislation.
We bieden
Our website www.euraxess.nl offers a continuously updated overview of Dutch research job vacancies as well as information on available fellowships and grants. Moreover, the website contains need-to-know information on (preparing) your stay in the Netherlands. This includes topics such as immigration procedures, tax issues, health insurance and social security.

The Euraxess Newsletter (issued six times a year) keeps researchers in the Netherlands informed about current issues, developments and more.
