Founded in 1981, our company has grown from a small start-up to a diversified enterprise with annual revenues exceeding 3billion. With many established products and services helping patients in more than 80 countries, Genzyme is a leader in the effort to develop and apply most advanced technologies in life sciences. Genzyme opened its first European office in 1991 to serve Genzyme’s expanding international focus. Today Genzyme European operations consists of nearly 25 offices and manufacturing sites with a cumulative total of over 2,400 employees in the EMEA region.
