Activities: With offices throughout North America, Europe and Asia, the European Logistics Center (ELC), the Dutch Marketing and Sales affiliate and the European IT organization are based in Breda, The Netherlands. The ELC provides a central point for production and distribution of Amgen’s products to amongst other countries in Europe and the Middle East. Departments like Quality and Regulatory Compliance back this function. The launches of Amgen’s products are covered within the Commercialization group, whereas Supply Chain Management takes care of both clinical and commercial products. Next to this the ELC houses the Customer Service and Demand department, the European Financial Shared Service Center and the unit that is responsible for all European and Middle East Information Systems.
