| CellCoTec is a biomedical start-up company, developing cell-based therapies for cartilage repair which can be delivered in a single surgery. With increasing life expectations and interest in high impact sports the patient population with cartilage defects expands. The goal of the company is to develop cell therapies for this large group of relatively young patient for which no other suitable treatment is available, but are to young for total knee replacements.
