| Scientific Volume Imaging (SVI) develops and sells the high end image processing package Huygens to scientific microscopists all over the world. Our customers need our software to remove noise and blur from their 3D/4D microscopic images (deconvolution) and reveal their true images. With the aid of the Huygens software publications have been made in Nature and Science. Our customer work in researchfacilities and universities for plantscience and human & veterinary healthcare. Based on our expertise we're also partner in two European Framework programs and cooperate with one of the most advanced imaging labs worldwide in the MIT to develop the software needed for the future. | |
| Bedrijfsactiviteiten Sales and development are closely linked at SVI. We believe it's one of the reasons for our success right from the start 12 years ago. Our sales know what's going on in the market and give feed-back to development. In return development keeps sales up-to-date at all times on their progress in development. Our customers benefit. Support is our third pillar under our success. We've built a WIKI (http://support.svi.nl/wiki/) on microscopic imaging that is unchallenged yet and high-rated in Google. We've developed course-materials for our customers. We give personal support from 8-18 hours CET. | |

| We're always interested in talented programmers who love to program for biosciences and know more than just Windows only. Email hans@svi.nl if this fits. Right now we're looking for a junior account manager: he/she will: * be responsible for selling the Huygens software together with the other sales. * be responsible for the pre- and post-sales support for researchers who bought our software. * represent SVI at international conferences (FOM, ELMI, CellBio etc) Profile: * Preferably a background in microscopy and/or imaging techniques. * Good knowledge of English * Empathic personality with good social skills. | |
