Our various work areas are subdivided into the following organizational units:
• the Blood Bank collects blood, produces blood products and delivers these products to hospitals.
• Diagnostics Service provides diagnostic service testing in the field of blood transfusion and immunology to serve hospitals and pharmaceutical companies.
• Research conducts fundamental and applied research in a variety of fields, including transfusion medicine, hematology and immunology.
• Sanquinnovate is a breeding ground where research ideas are translated into concrete new products and services in line with the medical priorities on which we focus.
• Sanquin Academy offers learning trajectories that have been developed and taught for decades by the experts of Sanquin.
